Rumors have been circulating about Kim Garam, a former member of the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM, making a comeback in the entertainment industry after her departure due to school bullying allegations.

On the 11th, a media outlet reported that Kim Garam was in discussions for an exclusive contract with Moden Berry Korea, a new entertainment agency that represents former DIA member Ahn Som Yi and former Teen Top member Bang Min Soo. However, Modernberry Korea has denied these claims, stating they are "groundless."

Last month, Kim Garam opened a personal social media account, sharing updates for the first time since leaving the group three years ago. Some interpreted her return to social media as a potential signal of her return to the entertainment scene, as it is common for celebrities to resume social media activities after a period of reflection following controversies.

Kim Garam was embroiled in school bullying allegations shortly after LE SSERAFIM's debut teaser was released in April 2022. She was accused of inappropriate behavior, including making lewd comments, using profanity, making threats, and mocking individuals with disabilities. At the time, her agency, Source Music, defended her, claiming the allegations were "maliciously edited" and that Kim Garam was actually the victim.

The controversy intensified when it was revealed that Kim Garam had received a special education order from the School Violence Countermeasures Committee. Despite debuting, the ongoing controversy led to her halting activities just 19 days later, and on July 20, 2022, her contract was terminated, and she left the group.

Since her departure, Kim Garam has continued her education, graduating from high school last year. She is currently enrolled in the Media Acting Department at Konkuk University.
