BTS Members Near Completion of Military Service, Raising Anticipation for Full Group Comeback

BTS is on the brink of completing their military service, with RM and V having been discharged on the 10th, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on the 11th, heightening expectations for a full group comeback.

Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged from the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, on the 11th. The duo enlisted together in December 2023 and served for 18 months in the artillery brigade. With Jin and J-Hope having been discharged in June and October last year, and RM and V just recently, a total of six members have completed their military duties.

Suga, who is serving as a social service agent, is also set to be released from his duties on the 21st, marking the official end of military service for all BTS members this month.

Previously, RM and V shared brief remarks after their discharge on the 10th, promising to "return with a great album and performance," further fueling anticipation.

The anticipation for BTS's full group return is impacting not only music fans but also the broader industry. HYBE's stock price has been on the rise for five consecutive trading days, closing at 309,000 KRW on the 10th, and even surpassing 310,000 KRW at one point, marking a 52-week high.

Speculations suggest that BTS's full group activities could resume as early as the latter half of this year or early 2026. Last year, Big Hit Music stated during an earnings conference call that "BTS's full group activities are expected in 2026," and recently reiterated that "post-discharge activity plans are being closely discussed with the artists, and details will be shared with fans once finalized."
