QWER's Magenta Loses Thumbprint Amidst Intense Practice for New Album

On the afternoon of the 9th, QWER held a media showcase at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third mini-album, 'I'm on Your Side, Even if the Whole World is Dissonant.'
Magenta shared that all members participated in composing and writing lyrics for the album, stating, "I started studying songwriting and composition for the first time earlier this year. With this opportunity, we aimed to capture the diverse charms of the members. It was meaningful to study music together with the band."
Hina added, "Despite our busy schedules, we worked on the album at our dorm. Many good ideas came during everyday moments, like when we were eating together." Siyun also commented, "The members put in a lot of effort and time. Being a band, we could focus a lot on the performance itself. I think we've grown in that aspect."
Magenta then humorously mentioned, "We practiced so much for this comeback that my thumbprint wore off to the point where fingerprint recognition doesn't work. When I told Kim Gyeran, he said, 'It's the same for people who work out. They don't have fingerprints either,' which made me laugh. It made me feel proud and motivated to work even harder."
The mini-album 'I'm on Your Side, Even if the Whole World is Dissonant' encapsulates the narrative of overcoming dissonant times within the bright and hopeful growth story that QWER has built. It includes the title track 'Holding Back Tears' among a total of six songs. The title track is about taking another step forward for a hopeful tomorrow, even amidst overwhelming sadness.
Meanwhile, QWER's third mini-album 'I'm on Your Side, Even if the Whole World is Dissonant' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 9th.
