Big Bang's G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Singer BIBI Showcase Professionalism Amid Stage Mishaps

Having been on stage for nearly 20 years, G-Dragon has encountered lift accidents multiple times, allowing him to handle them smoothly. However, there was an incident eight years ago that led to a temporary halt of a performance. During the 2017 world tour in Bangkok, while performing 'A Boy,' he fell into a lift shaft while walking backward. The sudden incident prompted staff to rush onto the stage, and fans screamed, leading to a brief pause in the concert.

Fans reacted by saying, "I thought the fall was part of the dance," and "It was so natural." The moment became iconic, and in January, the group Seventeen recreated it on their YouTube channel 'Jibdaesung.' Seventeen's Hoshi commented, "I really thought it was part of the choreography."
Group member Daesung added, "Right after the performance, Taeyang said, 'I fell,' and we were like, 'Where did you fall?' He got up so quickly, as expected of Taeyang."

BIBI continued, "I used all my energy to maintain a poker face. I was smiling, but in my head, I was thinking, 'What should I do? Should I apologize?' I wondered if showing my flustered state would be embarrassing. It was all a blur." Fortunately, she had taped her outfit beforehand to prevent any major mishaps.
While some stage accidents can be prevented with preparation, controlling every unexpected situation is challenging. In cases of serious injury, performances may need to be halted. However, handling minor incidents like falls with grace is a quality that performers should possess.
