K-Pop Group MEOVV Continues to Soar with New Track 'DROP TOP'

Under the leadership of producer Teddy, the group MEOVV (comprising members Suin, Gawon, Anna, Narin, and Ella) from The Black Label is making waves with their latest track 'DROP TOP'.

MEOVV kicked off their comeback activities by pre-releasing the double title track 'HANDS UP' from their first EP 'MY EYES OPEN VVIDE' on the 28th of last month.

The Brazilian funk genre track 'HANDS UP', characterized by its fast-paced and vibrant rhythm combined with unique synth sounds, received an enthusiastic response immediately upon its release. The music video, noted for its distinctive visual style and dazzling performance, quickly climbed to the top of YouTube's trending videos.

Following the release of their performance and music show stages, 'HANDS UP' has shown a clear upward trajectory on music charts. It entered the 'TOP 100' and daily charts on Melon, South Korea's largest music streaming site, and secured the number one spot on 'M Countdown' for two consecutive weeks, earning MEOVV their first music show trophy. The group showcased their live performance skills by executing choreography on the encore stage as if it were the main performance. With the successful conclusion of 'HANDS UP' promotions, anticipation is high for the 'DROP TOP' stage from their debut EP.

Released on the 12th alongside their first EP 'MY EYES OPEN VVIDE', 'DROP TOP' presents a sensory journey of moving forward with one's unique perspective. The track, which starts with a calm mood and evolves into a lively pop song infused with rock elements, was unveiled at a showcase on the release day. Its hopeful lyrics and catchy, memorable choreography captured attention, and their live performance at 'Superpop 2025 Korea' was met with cheers. This track showcases a different side of MEOVV, blending their intense charm with a more upbeat and lyrical sound.
