K-Pop Sensation ILLIT Set to Release New Mini Album 'bomb' in June

On the 19th, their agency Belief Lab announced, "ILLIT will release their third mini-album 'bomb' on June 16." This marks their return approximately eight months after their last comeback.
According to Belief Lab, 'bomb' explores ILLIT's unique approach to expanding their world through interactions with 'you.' Following their first mini-album 'SUPER REAL ME,' which focused on the true 'me,' and their second mini-album 'I'LL LIKE YOU,' which expressed feelings towards 'you,' ILLIT is now set to delve into building relationships. Fans are eager to see what new and exciting aspects ILLIT will bring with their quirky charm and bold appeal.
ILLIT made a significant impact on the global market immediately after their debut last year. Their debut track 'Magnetic' became the first and fastest K-pop debut song to enter the US Billboard Main Song Chart 'Hot 100' and the UK Official 'Single Top 100,' among other global charts. The song's enduring popularity was matched by the success of their second mini-album's title track 'Cherish (My Love).'
The group has won a total of 13 awards, including seven rookie awards, at major music award ceremonies in Korea, the US, and Japan.
ILLIT's success continues this year. Their song 'Almond Chocolate,' released as the theme for a Japanese film in February, gained popularity through word of mouth and climbed the local music charts. It reached 10th place on the Oricon Chart's 'Weekly Streaming Ranking' (March 31-April 6), marking the highest achievement for a K-pop girl group song released this year.
ILLIT is also gearing up for their first fan concert. They will meet fans at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, on June 7-8.
