ITZY Announces Comeback with New Album 'Girls Will Be Girls' Set for June Release

ITZY is gearing up for a comeback with the release of their new album 'Girls Will Be Girls' in June.

JYP Entertainment announced on the morning of the 12th via their official social media channels that ITZY will be releasing their new album on June 9th at 6 PM. This marks their return approximately eight months after their last mini-album 'GOLD' was released in October of last year.

The trailer for the new album, which is crafted like a short film, showcases the members' journey to revive Ryujin's halted heart. Directed by renowned commercial director Yoo Kwang-hyun, the dramatized format of the trailer has captured the audience's attention.

Notably, JYP's chief producer J.Y. Park makes a surprise appearance in the trailer, playing a pivotal role at the beginning. The trailer features J.Y. Park holding a cassette radio in front of Ryujin, who sports a new short bob hairstyle. The visuals and acting skills of Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, and Yuna, along with their stunning dance performances, are highlighted, raising anticipation for their first comeback of 2025.
