'Successful Re-contract → (G) deletion' i-dle, starting a new chapter as 'we', not me

The group, consisting of members Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua, will release their 8th mini album 'We are' on the 19th, marking a shift from their 'I' series to a theme that signifies 'We'.
i-dle first debuted in 2018 with the mini album 'I am', which introduced the members and the team through the 'I' series. They gained attention for their self-producing capabilities, a rarity among girl groups, with their debut track 'LATATA'. Following this, they successfully released mini albums like 'I made', 'I trust', and 'I burn', establishing a unique musical identity.
During this period, i-dle captivated audiences with conceptual music and performances, with hits like 'LATATA', 'HANN (Alone)', 'Senorita', 'Uh-Oh', 'Oh my god', 'DUMDi DUMDi', and 'HWAA'.
The year 2022 marked a significant turning point for the group. After over a year of preparation, they released their first full-length album 'I NEVER DIE', featuring the title track 'TOMBOY', and their 5th mini album 'I love', with the title track 'Nxde', achieving career highs.

Following the renewal of contracts with all members last year, i-dle returns with their 8th mini album. The pre-released track 'Girlfriend' offers a comforting message to a friend experiencing a breakup, showcasing another facet of their musical world.
Having built a narrative from 'I', i-dle has now changed their name from (G)I-DLE to i-dle, embarking on a new journey. With clear thematic focus and diverse sounds, anticipation builds for their activities under the theme of 'We'.
i-dle's 8th mini album 'We are' will be released on the 19th at 6 PM.
