MONSTA X Celebrates 10th Anniversary with New Digital Album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1'

MONSTA X (Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, I.M) is set to release a digital album in celebration of their 10th anniversary.

Starship Entertainment announced the release of MONSTA X's digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' through the group's official social media channels on the 5th.

According to the released image, MONSTA X will unveil 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' on various music platforms at noon on the 14th, marking their 10th debut anniversary.

The 'NOW' in 'NOW PROJECT vol.1' symbolizes both the present and a play on the group's name, MON, representing the identity and timeline of MONSTA X. The album features 10 tracks, including title and other songs released between 2021 and 2023. It offers a special gift to MONBEBE (official fan club name) by re-recording songs from the military hiatus period with all six members.

This album is not just a commemorative release but the first chapter of MONSTA X rewriting their existence in the present tense, both on stage and in music. Each track represents the group at that time while conveying emotions and messages that remain relevant today, continuing their journey in the present.

MONSTA X debuted on May 14, 2015, with their first mini-album 'TRESPASS', establishing their presence with powerful choreography and unique concepts. Known for their vocal and rap skills, they earned the title 'trustworthy performance masters'. In 2018, they became the first K-pop group to join the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour, participating in 2019 and 2021.

Despite entering a military hiatus starting with leader Shownu in 2021, MONSTA X's journey continued. Remaining members engaged in solo and unit activities, maintaining the group's presence. Recently, five members, excluding Hyungwon, who is still serving, have been featured in the reality content 'Mon Eat Do Go' on their official YouTube channel, raising anticipation for their full reunion.

Known for their fan dedication, MONSTA X has consistently expressed their love for MONBEBE. Shownu, Minhyuk, and I.M held a coffee truck event for fans last December, while Minhyuk, Kihyun, and Jooheon hosted a free fan event post-military service to thank fans for their patience.

With Hyungwon's discharge on the 13th, MONSTA X will reunite as a complete group. On the 14th, they will release 'NOW PROJECT vol.1', marking a new chapter in their journey.

As MONSTA X and MONBEBE eagerly await this meaningful reunion and 10th anniversary, fans are excited to experience the group's music with all six voices once again.
