Paul Brian Thompson, CEO of MZMC, expressed his excitement as he introduced the new girl group VVS.

VVS, consisting of members Britney, Ailee, Lana, Jiwoo, and Riwon, held their debut media showcase on the 22nd at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul.

The five-member group VVS is the first artist produced by MZMC. Paul Brian Thompson, the CEO of MZMC, is a renowned composer and producer who has collaborated with K-pop stars like Taeyeon, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, and Kang Daniel.

During the event, Thompson took the stage and greeted the audience in Korean, saying, "Hello, I am Paul Brian Thompson, CEO of MZMC. As you know, my Korean isn't very good." He continued in English, "Thank you for coming to the showcase. I've been working in the K-pop industry as a composer for the past 10 years, and for the last five years, I've been dedicated to VVS's debut."

He added, "This moment is filled with emotion. We started with five employees and have grown to seven, preparing for the VVS showcase with a small team. We anticipate challenges ahead, but we have much to show. Please support and look forward to the members with warm hearts."

Thompson also expressed gratitude to the VVS members, acknowledging, "I know it's not easy to follow an American CEO who isn't fluent in Korean. I'm thankful to the members for trusting and joining me on this journey."

Leader Britney commented, "I understand that having a foreign CEO is rare. There are many advantages to having a foreign CEO. Not many members, besides me, are fluent in English, but we've improved a lot. We've also learned about foreign cultures, including old-school hip-hop, through cultural lessons."

Their debut single 'TEA' features an addictive synth lead, heavy 808 drums, and a whispering chorus. It includes contributions from American musicians such as MZMC, Amelia Moore, JBACH, Kyle Buckley, and Charles Roberts Nelsen. The key line "I'm the Tea" carries a triple meaning, referring to drinking tea, gossip, or someone's story, and atmosphere, cleverly adapting to new meanings over time. The choreography incorporates international sign language for 'tea.'

VVS's debut single 'TEA' will be released at 6 PM today.
