UNIS Returns with 'SWICY': A Sweet and Spicy Comeback
UNIS, consisting of members Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danka, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Elicia, Oh Yoon-ah, and Lim Seo-won, revealed the tracklist for their second mini-album 'SWICY' through their official social media channels at midnight on the 9th.
The tracklist was accompanied by charming images of the eight members surrounded by candy, cookies, cakes, and whipped cream. The new album features a total of five tracks. Alongside the title track 'SWICY', the album includes 'What Are You Doing?', 'DDANG!', 'Good Feeling', and 'Spring Rain', showcasing UNIS's ability to be both 'Sweet' and 'Spicy'.
The title track 'SWICY' stands out with its lively rhythm and playful arcade sounds. The song's witty lyrics compare the members' sweet and spicy charm to food, capturing UNIS's unpredictable and lively spirit. It evokes the idea of a recipe book where a sweet first taste is followed by a surprising spicy kick.
A host of producers have contributed to heighten anticipation for UNIS's new music. The title track was produced by the team Vendors, known for creating numerous hits with global stars like EXO, NCT, and Wanna One. The album also features contributions from Brother Su, who participated in writing and composing.
What can fans expect from UNIS's signature 'Sweet and Spicy' song? On the 11th, UNIS plans to release a highlight medley, further piquing the curiosity of their global fanbase.
