Former AOA member Kwon Mina has taken action following the repeated deaths of celebrities.

On October 10, Kwon Mina posted a photo on her Instagram without any caption.

The photo contained a message advocating for a strong legislative response to prevent celebrity suicides caused by the activities of entertainment reporters on YouTube channels. Kwon Mina confirmed her support for this petition, which had garnered 9,097 signatures by 9 PM that day.

Previously, Kwon Mina expressed her anger towards a YouTuber, a former entertainment reporter, following the death of actress Kim Sae-ron.

Kwon Mina debuted in 2012 with AOA, releasing hit songs like 'Heart Attack,' 'Bingle Bangle,' 'Like a Cat,' and 'Miniskirt,' and rose to fame as part of the popular girl group. However, in 2020, Kwon Mina claimed she was bullied within the group, leading to internal conflict and the eventual disbandment of AOA.

Currently, Kwon Mina has paused her entertainment activities and is set to work as a consultation manager at a dermatology clinic near Sicheong Station.
