BLACKPINK's Lisa to Make Historic Performance at the 97th Academy Awards

BLACKPINK's Lisa is set to make history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the prestigious Academy Awards.

According to the official Academy Awards website, Lisa will join American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Raye as performers at the 97th Academy Awards.

This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a K-pop artist will take the stage at the Oscars, drawing considerable attention.

Lisa recently released her new single 'Born Again' on global music platforms on the 7th. The Academy Awards will be the first live performance of this new track.

In addition to Lisa, the ceremony will feature performances by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, stars of the musical film 'Wicked,' as well as rapper Queen Latifah.

The 97th Academy Awards will take place on March 3rd at 9 AM (local time March 2nd at 7 PM), with renowned American comedian Conan O'Brien hosting the event.
