KCON JAPAN 2025 Unveils Second Artist Lineup, Amplifying Global Anticipation

KCON, the unique festival where global K-POP fans and artists come together, has heightened anticipation with the release of its second lineup for 'KCON JAPAN 2025'. The newly announced artists include EVNNE, INI, IS:SUE, izna, QWER, and TWS, listed alphabetically. These artists, who have been making waves globally, are expected to electrify the Makuhari Messe venue. Notably, TWS, who won 'Best New Male Artist' at the '2024 MAMA AWARDS', and QWER, who took home 'Best Band Performance', are part of the lineup. INI and IS:SUE have topped Japanese music charts, while EVNNE and izna, born from Mnet's global survival programs 'Boys Planet' and 'I-LAND 2: N/a', are also joining the event.
EVNNE is set to hold their first solo concert following the success of their mini 4th album 'HOT MESS', which performed exceptionally on various real-time charts. INI has solidified their status as a top-tier Japanese group, surpassing one million sales with their sixth single album 'THE FRAME'. IS:SUE, formed by finalists from 'Produce 101 Japan The Girls', debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. izna, recognized by Grammy.com as a notable K-POP rookie, continues to make a global impact. QWER, a leading K-POP girl band, has consistently ranked high on major domestic music charts, with their hit 'Gominjungdok' being named Korea's top popular song of 2024 by YouTube. TWS, who swept rookie awards at various ceremonies last year, is gearing up for a fan meeting in Japan this March.
'KCON JAPAN 2025' promises to offer a more diverse and unique experience to fans worldwide, with a strengthened space configuration and program under the 'Club Fair' theme, showcasing a wide spectrum of K-POP artists.
Currently, the confirmed lineup for 'KCON JAPAN 2025' includes BOYNEXTDOOR, CRAVITY, EVNNE, INI, IS:SUE, izna, JO1, Jo Yu-ri, Kep1er, ME:I, QWER, TAEMIN, TWS, and ZEROBASEONE, with more artists to be announced.
Since its inception in Irvine, USA, in 2012, CJ ENM's KCON has played a pioneering role in spreading the Korean Wave by presenting a festival model that encompasses cultural content centered around music. KCON has been held in 14 regions worldwide, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, attracting a cumulative offline audience of approximately 1.99 million people.
