JISOO of BLACKPINK Unveils Deep Emotions with Solo Mini Album 'AMORTAGE'

BLACKPINK's JISOO is set to showcase her deepened emotional range with her new solo mini album.

On November 14 at 2 PM KST, JISOO will release her solo mini album 'AMORTAGE' across all major online music platforms worldwide.

'AMORTAGE' marks JISOO's first comeback in two years since her solo debut with 'FLOWER' and her first release under her own label, BLISSOO. The album features four tracks: Korean songs 'earthquake' and 'TEARS', and English tracks 'Your Love' and 'Hugs & Kisses'.

The album title 'AMORTAGE' combines the Spanish word for love, 'AMOR', with 'MONTAGE', a film technique that conveys meaning through a series of images. This album encapsulates JISOO's journey as a versatile artist, with her involvement in the creation of all four tracks, showcasing significant growth in music, performance, and visuals.

The title track 'earthquake' captures the excitement of new love and intense emotions towards a partner. The music video, featuring JISOO herself, will be released alongside the album, promising a visually stunning narrative and a new side of JISOO.

The album continues with 'Your Love', expressing the joy of deepening love, 'TEARS', depicting the struggle to appear cheerful after a breakup, and 'Hugs & Kisses', illustrating the liberation and self-discovery post-breakup. Each track resonates with the various stages of love, akin to a romantic film narrative.

In addition to the album, JISOO has launched official channels on global platforms TikTok and Douyin, achieving a record-breaking 5 million followers as the fastest female artist in Korea. She will also perform her new song for the first time on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on November 16, alongside other promotional activities.

JISOO will host a special fan meet-up event 'SOO IN LOVE' at Seoul's CGV Cheongdam Cinecity with two sessions at 6 PM and 8 PM. Following this, she will embark on a 2025 fan meeting tour 'LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!' across seven Asian cities, including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.
