Rapper San E Faces Legal Trouble Over Assault Incident

According to TenAsia, the Seoul Mapo Police Station forwarded San E to the prosecution on October 10 on charges of special injury. His father, Mr. A, who was also booked on the same charges, reached a settlement with the victim, leading to the conclusion of the investigation against him.
San E was initially booked on August 17 last year for special assault. The incident reportedly occurred on August 28 at around 8:30 PM at an underpass in Mapo-gu, where San E allegedly assaulted a passerby with a cellphone after telling him to "handle his bicycle properly." The victim reportedly suffered a cut near the eye and damage to some teeth.
Following the incident, San E issued an apology through his legal representative, stating, "I sincerely apologize to the victim for the recent assault incident." He expressed his desire to meet the victim in person to seek forgiveness and added, "I am sorry to those who were disappointed by my actions. Please reprimand me for my wrongdoing."
San E debuted in 2008 and is known for hit songs like "Story of Someone I Know" and "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness." He gained attention as a producer on Mnet's hip-hop audition program 'Show Me the Money.'
