Super Junior's Leeteuk Addresses Outfit Reuse Controversy at SM Town Live 2025

During a live broadcast on 'Tugi Tugi Leeteuk,' he explained that the reuse of stage outfits at the 'SM Town Live 2025' concert, celebrating the company's 30th anniversary, was not due to the stylists' negligence but rather a matter of cost management.
Leeteuk revealed that the stage outfits were reused from previous years, stating, "The production budget for this concert wasn't very high. If we produce new outfits, it comes out of our activity expenses, and we have to bear the cost. Since there aren't many performances, we wore outfits that we had worn before. Please don't criticize us for that."
He further elaborated, "Creating new outfits can cost several million won, sometimes even more. Some outfits are sponsored, while others are custom-made. Measuring sizes, purchasing fabric, and making them to fit isn't as cheap as one might think."

He added, "When we make outfits, it either goes into the concert production budget or our activity expenses. It's a waste to wear something expensive just once. We might wear them again at events. If we reuse outfits, there's a reason. We also voice our opinions if there's too much reuse. We don't wear the same thing two days in a row."
During the 'SM Town Live 2025' held on the 11th and 12th, Super Junior performed hits like 'Sorry Sorry' and 'Black Suit.' The reuse of past outfits sparked a 'reuse' controversy among some fans.
