LE SSERAFIM Shines on Global Year-End Charts: TikTok and Apple Music Success

LE SSERAFIM has made a significant impact on global year-end charts.

On December 5th, TikTok released its 'Year on TikTok 2024' report. LE SSERAFIM, consisting of members Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, ranked 4th globally and 3rd in Korea in the 'Top 10 Artists' category. This marks the highest position for any K-pop girl group, with aespa also making the list at 6th globally.

The 'Top Artists' are determined based on the number of views on the artists' official TikTok accounts. LE SSERAFIM has seen a rapid increase in followers and views on their TikTok account, thanks to the success of their hits from 'Perfect Night' released last October to this year's 'EASY', 'Smart', and 'CRAZY'. They have engaged closely with their followers through dance challenges, skits using their songs, and content featuring the latest memes. As of 11 AM on December 5th, their official TikTok account has surpassed 11.1 million followers.

LE SSERAFIM is also showing strong performance on year-end music charts. According to Apple Music's year-end chart released on December 4th, 'Perfect Night' ranked 55th on the 'Top 100: Global' chart for 2024, which is based on play counts from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024. Only three K-pop artists, including LE SSERAFIM, made it onto this chart.

Additionally, on Apple Music's 'Top 100: Korea' chart for 2024, LE SSERAFIM's 'Perfect Night' ranked 5th, with their mini-album title track 'EASY' at 27th, 'Smart' at 40th, and 'Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard's Wife' from their first full album at 98th. 'Yes or No (Feat. Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM, Crush)' also made the list at 58th.

LE SSERAFIM is set to appear at various year-end award shows and special programs, including Japan's Fuji TV 'FNS Music Festival' on December 11th, SBS 'Gayo Daejeon' on the 25th, 'The 9th Asia Artist Awards' on the 27th, and Japan's NHK 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' on the 31st, where they will connect with fans.
