EXO's Baekhyun Successfully Concludes First Concert Film GV and Stage Greeting
EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun has successfully wrapped up the GV (Guest Visit) and stage greeting for his first concert film, 'Baekhyun: Lonsdaleite Dot in Cinema.'
On the 1st of the month, Baekhyun held the first-ever artist GV for a concert film at Yeongdeungpo CGV. He shared his emotions and behind-the-scenes stories from the concert with Kim Se-yoon, the writer of MBC Radio's 'FM Movie Music with Kim Se-yoon.'
Baekhyun explained his reason for hosting the GV, saying, "When you only see someone on screen and then go home, they can feel distant. I wanted people to feel like 'Baekhyun is right here with me.'"
Regarding the special stage setups like 'Sky Garden' and 'Sky Bridge' introduced in the concert, he shared, "What always felt lacking during performances was that while we were in the same space, some might feel left out. I wanted everyone, even those far away, to feel included and that we were all breathing together in the same space."
After the final 'Lonsdaleite [dot]' performance, Baekhyun expressed his joy, saying, "I was so happy, and when I spend happy times with our EXO-Ls, I sleep really well that night," showcasing his deep affection for his fans.
Reflecting on his first solo Asia tour, Baekhyun said, "At first, I had more questions about whether I could complete this tour, but I felt like I had climbed a big mountain and grown. I now have confidence that I can fill future concerts with even more happiness and fun." Having debuted 12 years ago and marking his 5th year as a solo artist, Baekhyun shared, "I am so happy working, and I feel like this is the perfect job for me. Sometimes it feels like a part of my life, and it's such a joyful process. I hope to continue sharing happiness and repay the love I've received as an artist."
Baekhyun also revealed plans to meet fans through albums, concerts, and various events next year. After the GV, he continued to engage with fans through a special stage greeting.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun's concert film 'Baekhyun: Lonsdaleite Dot in Cinema' is currently being screened to great acclaim.
