YG Entertainment's rookie girl group BABYMONSTER is set to boost their rising popularity in Japan by appearing on major terrestrial music programs.

According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will perform their debut album's title track 'DRIP' on TV Asahi's 'Music Station' (M-Station) on the 29th. This iconic Japanese music program, with a 38-year history, is a must-visit stage for top local and global artists alike.

During their debut album 'BABYMONS7ER' promotions, BABYMONSTER showcased their title track 'SHEESH,' proving their 'monster rookie' status with an impressive live performance that captivated local audiences. Expectations are high for their 'DRIP' performance, given their previous success.

BABYMONSTER will perform the Korean version of 'DRIP' with handheld microphones, aiming to captivate local music fans with their upgraded skills. They are also scheduled to appear on NHK's 'Venue101' on the 30th and Fuji TV's 'Weekly Nainai Music' on December 11th, marking the start of their full-scale local promotions.

BABYMONSTER's debut album 'DRIP' has already achieved remarkable success in Japan, topping the iTunes Japan Top Albums chart and the Line Music Album Top 100 real-time chart upon release. The album also ranked high on major charts like Oricon and Billboard Japan.

The pop-up store celebrating the release of 'DRIP' is drawing large crowds in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Fukuoka. Their first world tour, set for 2025, will include performances in four Japanese cities: Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka, highlighting their strong local popularity.
