“Harmony for you”

Jimin of BTS released a pre-released song from his 2nd solo album simultaneously around the world.

'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)' from Jimin's new album 'MUSE' will be released on various music sites and the Hive Labels YouTube channel at 1pm on the 28th (Korean time). The sound source and track video were released.

This song is the Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' (Sergeant. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band) album. When Jimin created his previous work 'FACE', he called the writers he worked with the 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' and devoted himself happily to the creation. 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)' was completed with inspiration from the fictional team formed by Jimin and the Beatles album.

'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)' is a song based on the 'marching band' that plays while marching. The hip-hop genre is added to the sound of a big band (large-scale orchestra), featuring a lively bounce, rhythm, and dynamic atmosphere from beginning to end. The cheerful melody makes the listeners' shoulders shake, and the pure lyrics stimulate children's hearts.

The pleasure of listening is doubled when Jimin's refreshing vocals come together. The 'Yeonum Boys and Girls Choir', which participated in the fan song 'Closer Than This' released in December last year, forms fantastic harmony with Jimin and Loco. The children's clear, clear voices sound like Cupid's whispers, and play a big role in bringing out the lovely feel of the song.

The theme of the song's lyrics is 'confession'. Jimin took a motif from the fictional flower 'Smeraldo', whose flower language means 'the sincerity that could not be conveyed', and completed the sweet lyrics about confessing on behalf of those who cannot express their feelings and finding love.

The track video unfolds like a musical. The video begins with the introduction of Jimin, producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN, who came together as the virtual team 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band'. The collaborative performance scene between Jimin, who has transformed into a band frontman, and fellow musicians is impressive. Also, in the two-shot of Loco and Jimin, who participated in the featuring, a pleasant energy can be felt, making the viewers smile.

Then, watching the performance by Jimin, the children, and the dancers reminds me of the moments when I was playing at the playground as a child. Jimin even delivers an overwhelming impression with the large-scale group dance scene that appears in the latter half of the film. Dressed in a black suit, he brings pleasant excitement with his charming voice and cheerful performance from the beginning to the end of the track video. He completed another all-time performance based on his outstanding expressive ability to digest all concepts in his own way.

Jimin, who announced the start of 'MUSE' with a pre-released song, will release all songs on the album on the 19th of next month. Prior to this, concept photos and clips of the 'SERENADE' version will be released on July 7th, and a highlight medley that provides a glimpse of the atmosphere of 'MUSE' will be unveiled on July 14th.
