He continued, “We collected a huge amount of posts and comments and submitted a complaint to the investigative agency on charges of insults, defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, and obscenity through the use of communication media under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act. We are continuing to collect evidence afterward,” adding, “Malicious slander, false facts, “Personal attacks, derogatory remarks, ridicule, and low-level malicious comments are all subject to legal action,” he emphasized.
Regarding the scope of posts and comments subject to complaint, Source Music said, "It includes portal sites such as Naver, Natepan, Theku, DC Inside, Instiz, and Daily Best, as well as communities and SNS," adding, "Malicious posts and comments posted on overseas platforms. We also submitted a complaint to the investigative agency against the channel operator.”
The results of confirmed punishment in the case of the indictment were also announced. Source Music said, "The investigation into the suspects who wrote malicious posts or comments in the community was conducted over a long period of time. As they were found guilty of writing malicious posts or comments, many of the defendants were sentenced to criminal charges, including fines of up to 2 million won. “I was punished,” he said.

We have previously announced that we believe that indiscriminate malicious posts directed at Le Seraphim have reached a very serious level, and that we will strengthen legal action to protect the rights and interests of artists.
Accordingly, we have advanced the regular notice in the first half of 2024 to inform fans of the current situation and follow-up progress of strong legal measures. We ask for your understanding as it has taken a considerable amount of time to prepare extensive evidence and submit a complaint, making it difficult to immediately share the situation.
We are conducting a comprehensive search for malicious posts and comments across all channels, including artist-related domestic and international social accounts and online communities. In this process, a number of experts, including fans' reports and additionally appointed domestic and foreign law firms, used all possible means to collect evidence.
