SM Entertainment holds first global girl group audition

SM Entertainment (hereinafter SM, CEO: Jang Cheol-hyuk and Tak Young-jun) is conducting a global audition for a new female group. This is the first time SM is holding a global audition for a female group.

SM announced on the 3rd that it began accepting applications for the '2024 SM NEW GIRL GROUP AUDITION (SMNGG)' on the 1st to showcase a new female group.

The application period is from June 1st to June 22nd and is conducted online. Any woman born between 2005 and 2011 from around the world can apply.

Self-introduction, vocal, and dance videos must be attached to apply for the first online audition, and vocal and dance songs must only be selected from among the announced mission songs.

The detailed schedule and location of the second offline on-site audition will be notified individually only to those who pass the first round.

SMNGG finalists will be given the opportunity to debut as members of SM's new female group.
