Zico's 'SPOT!' breaks through the US Billboard charts

Artist and producer Zico (ZICO) broke through the US Billboard charts.

According to the latest chart (as of May 11) released by the US Billboard on the 7th (Korean time), Zico's digital single 'SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)' (hereinafter 'SPOT!') entered 8th place in 'Global (excluding the United States)'. In particular, Zico showed off his extraordinary presence by going straight to the 'Top 10' in the first week of release.

‘SPOT!’ ranked 24th in the ‘Global 200’. 'Global 200' is a chart that ranks streaming and sales in more than 200 countries/regions around the world, including the United States, and is considered one of the indicators of the latest trends in the popular music market. Additionally, this song ranked first in ‘World Digital Song Sales’ as soon as it appeared.

Zico achieved a 'career high' on the Billboard chart, proving his elevated status in the global music market. In particular, they are attracting attention by receiving a warm response from the mainstream pop market even before they begin their full-fledged overseas activities.

The momentum of ‘SPOT!’ is also evident on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. This song's popularity gained momentum as it broke its highest ranking at 70th place in 'Daily Top Song Global' dated the 5th.

'SPOT!' ranked first on the domestic music charts Melon, Genie, and Bugs' weekly charts (counting period from April 29 to May 5). It has maintained first place on the daily charts of major domestic music sites such as Melon and Genie for 10 and 9 days, respectively.

‘SPOT!’ is a song written, composed, arranged, and produced by Zico. It sings about an innocent moment between two friends who accidentally meet at a party late at night. Zico succeeded in killing two birds with one stone as an artist and a producer with 'SPOT!', marking the 10th anniversary of his brilliant solo debut.
