[Exclusive] Davichi leaves Wake One

Female duo Davichi (Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung) are about to have a beautiful breakup with their agency Wake One.

According to Ten Asia coverage on the 27th, Davichi will end its association with Wake One with the newly released song 'I'll Be by Your Side'. An official told Ten Asia, "Davichi's exclusive contract with Wake One is about to expire," and "The collaboration with Wake One will end with this new song promotion." It is known that various possibilities are being considered with regard to future actions.

Davichi made a comeback by releasing the new song ‘I’ll Be by Your Side’ at 6 PM on the 26th. 'I'll be by your side' is a song filled with the comfort of a spring day, promising to be by your side at any time, and is a medium ballad with a faint melody and cheerful sound.

Davichi is the longest-running female duo in Korea, having debuted in February 2008, and has been loved by the public by continuously promoting new songs. The duo, which combines Lee Hae-ri's vocals and Kang Min-kyung's voice, presented a diverse spectrum of music, from medium-tempo songs to ballads. He had hit songs such as '8282', 'Love and War', and 'Don't Say Goodbye'.

Meanwhile, Wake One, who accompanied Davichi, included the groups Zero Base One and Kepler, as well as 2AM's Lim Seulong, singer Roy Kim, IZ*ONE's Cho Yuri, and singer Ha Hyun-sang.
