‘Personal life controversy’ Lucas debuts solo

Singer Lucas, who left the group NCT due to controversy over his personal life, will debut as a solo singer.

Lucas' first single 'Renegade' will be released in its entirety on various music sites on the 1st. Two music videos for the title song 'Renegade' will also be released simultaneously on YouTube's SMTOWN channel.

This album consists of a total of three English songs, including the title song 'Renegade', 'Dip It Low', and 'Crushing On You'.

The title song 'Renegade' is a rock-based hip-hop song that contains the ambition to walk one's own path without hesitation through changes for the better and a stronger inner self. The strong guitar riff and driving beat emphasize the message of pioneering one's own life.

This title song music video was produced in two parts with different charms. It is expected to attract attention with a version that adds witty production elements to Lucas holding a press conference to release a new album, and a version that features an energetic performance of the new song.

Lucas will host 'LUCAS 'Renegade' Countdown Live' on the Lucas channel on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Weverse at 5 p.m. on this day. Lucas plans to give a variety of talks while listening to the highlights of all songs.

Additionally, Lucas will begin the ‘LUCAS FANCON TOUR IN ASIA <FIAT LUX: Hee>’ starting with a performance in Jakarta on May 11th. Following his solo debut, he plans to meet global fans more closely through his first solo performance.
