[Exclusive] Big Planet Made recruits Lee Hyori, former agency representative, as management representative
Big Planet Made has recruited the CEO of singer Lee Hyo-ri's former agency.
According to Ten Asia coverage on the 14th, CEO Gil Jong-hwa has been serving as the management representative of Big Planet Made since November of last year.
CEO Gil Jong-hwa entered the entertainment industry as a manager for the group Fin.K.L. during his time at Daesung Communications (predecessor of DSP Media). He was responsible for managing groups such as Kara and rose to the position of director of DSP Media. He then served as the general representative of B2M Entertainment and managed Lee Hyori, the group Spica, and singer Eric Nam.
Big Planet Made plans to recruit CEO Gil, who has a long history in the music industry, to improve the quality of its artist management and expand strategically. Its affiliated label is Million Market, headed by MC Mong.
Meanwhile, Big Planet Made is an entertainment agency with One Hundred Label as its parent company, and its members include VIVIZ, a group of GFRIEND members Eunha, Sinbi, and Umji, as well as singers Huh Gak, Ha Sung-woon, and Lee Moo-jin. As a result of Ten Asia's coverage, it was confirmed that SHINee's Taemin will transfer to Big Planet Made after the expiration of his contract with SM Entertainment.
