(G)I-DLE releases live clip of ‘Because I Hate Being Pain’
On the afternoon of the 13th, Cube Entertainment hosted a live performance of (G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua)'s song 'Because I Hate Being Pain' (Fate) from their 2nd full-length album 'Two' through their official YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 13th. The clip was released.
In the released video, (G)I-DLE performed live in front of a stand microphone on the school rooftop with an open blue sky in the background, creating a refreshing mood. He also impressed listeners with his outstanding live skills.
(G)I-DLE not only showed off their bright visuals with school uniform styling that brought out their individual personalities, but the fluttering flower petals added warmth and left a deep lingering impression with a production that was like a scene from a youth movie.
Member Soyeon participated in writing and composing the lyrics for ‘Because I Hate Being Pain’. The funk-based, minimalist and bouncy band sound is attractive, and the lyrics that wittily express the 'destiny' that suddenly appeared one day stand out.
‘Because I Hate Being Pain’ is rising on the music charts without any special activity, causing a comeback craze. It ranked 3rd on various music charts, including Melon, Genie Music, Bugs, Flo, and Vibe. At the same time, the 'Ah.Tak.Jil Challenge' using this song is also receiving a warm response and gaining popularity among domestic and foreign fans.
(G)I-DLE is achieving great results from the title to the included songs through their 2nd full-length album '2'. Expectations are high to see what other steps they will take in the future as they challenge different concepts and genres with each album.
