SEVENTEEN, No. 1 in Japanese Oricon weekly album… 3rd time in total

Group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) took the top spot on the Japanese Oricon chart for the third time in total.

According to the latest chart released by Oricon on the 12th, SEVENTEEN's 11th mini album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' ranked first in the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking (as of March 18/counting period March 4-10, 2024). Reached the top for the third time.

Seventeen is the first domestic and international artist to reach the top of this chart with one album in about 2 years and 8 months since BTS (THE BEST).

'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN', released on October 23rd last year, continues to gain popularity even after about 5 months. 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' rose to the top of Oricon's 'Weekly Total Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Album Ranking' immediately after its release. With this, SEVENTEEN has their 11th album ranked No. 1 on the Oricon Album Chart, making them 'foreign artists with the most number-one works' on each chart.

SEVENTEEN also made K-pop history with 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN', becoming the first artist in K-pop history to exceed 5 million copies in the first week of release (album sales in the first week after release) and ranking first in all time (album sales in the first week after release). Newly written.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will hold an encore tour 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN' in large stadiums in Korea and Japan.
