BTS V releases first concept photo for new song 'FRI(END)S'

A photo giving a glimpse into the mood of BTS V's new digital single 'FRI(END)S' has been released.

Big Hit Music posted the first 6 concept photos of 'FRI(END)S' on BTS' official SNS at 00:00 on the 8th (hereinafter Korean time). While the previously released short film expressed the song's title in a witty way using various objects, the concept photo stimulated curiosity about the new song with a contrasting feeling.

In the concept photo, V exudes a lonely and cynical atmosphere. The black-and-white photo and cynical gaze double this mood. The black and white colored outfit exudes an understated style that only V can embody. V expressed his loneliness by lowering his eyes or staring at the camera with empty eyes while wearing a headset, as if disconnected from the world.

V also captivated the hearts of viewers with his 'flawless' perfect face in the extreme close-up cut. The photo taken at a low angle showed off visuals that were not limited by the angle.

V's second concept photo can be seen at midnight on the 11th.

Meanwhile, V will release his new song 'FRI(END)S' simultaneously around the world on March 15th at 1pm. This song is a love song in the Pop Soul R&B genre that is perfect for spring days. On the 16th, the day after the music release, the fan event 'FRI(END)S PARTY' will be held at a cafe in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
