IU succeeds in lining up the charts with her new album ‘The Winning’
IU ranked high on the music charts with her new mini album.

IU released her 6th mini-album <The Winning> at 6 PM on the 20th, and at the same time, all of her songs immediately dominated the top and top positions on major real-time music charts such as Genie and Bugs, including Melon's TOP 100 and HOT 100.

In particular, the pre-released song 'Love wins all' is maintaining its undisputed first place in Melon's TOP 100. The double titles 'Shopper' and 'Hole', and the b-side songs 'Shh..' and 'I Stan U' all landed in the top rankings.

On the iTunes Top Album Chart (as of the 21st), it ranked first in 15 regions: Brazil, Denmark, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. In addition, immediately after its release, 'IU Anna' was listed as a real-time trend on the global SNS 'X', and 'IU's new song' was listed as a Korean trend. In YouTube's trending music section, 'Hole' not only took first place, but 'Shopper' also landed at the top right after its release.

This album was released after about 2 years and 2 months, and IU prepared it in detail and meticulously, leading the way as a producer for a long time. For both double title songs, her long-time musical partners, composers Lee Jong-hoon and Lee Chae-gyu, who worked on numerous mega hits such as 'Leon', 'Twenty-Three', 'Pipi', and 'Strawberry Moon', have reunited.

Here, IU participated in writing lyrics for all songs. An ultra-luxurious corps contributed with features, special narrators, music video directing, and cast. After the release of all songs, Uaena and listeners at home and abroad have been receiving positive reviews and various challenges, such as “The more you listen, the better,” “Winnings to IU,” and “There is no song to leave out.”
