Le Seraphim, comeback on February 19th
Le Seraphim (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) announced their comeback through the global fandom life platform Weverse at midnight on the 22nd. The 3rd mini album 'EASY' is an album that honestly talks about the anxiety and concerns that exist behind Le Seraphim's confident appearance.
'EASY' is a Korean album released 9 months after the first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN', which was released in May last year. Le Seraphim, known as the epitome of confidence and confidence, is attracting the attention of the global K-pop fandom by announcing a new album that contains the anxiety and worries behind the stage that has never been shared before.
At the same time, the new album's logo motion was posted on Hive Labels' YouTube channel and Source Music's official SNS. This logo motion attracts attention by reconstructing the team's logo in that it is the simplest shape that is no longer divided. At the end of the video, the phrase “MAKE IT LOOK EASY” appears, and “IT LOOK” is struck out, stimulating curiosity about its meaning.
As Le Seraphim shows upward growth every time they release an album, attention is already focused on the achievements they will make with their 3rd mini album 'EASY'. Le Seraphim's first full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN' surpassed 1.25 million copies in the first week (album sales in one week based on the release date), achieving 'Million Seller' status for the second consecutive time following the previous work 'ANTIFRAGILE'. In addition, this album also stood out in overseas markets, entering 6th place on the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' (as of May 20, 2023).
Le Seraphim's first English digital single 'Perfect Night', released in October of last year, stayed on the US Billboard's 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' chart for two consecutive weeks, and was the team's highest ranking and longest-running album ever on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs USA'. It broke records on the charts. As this song became the first English song by a K-pop female artist to sweep the top spot on major domestic music charts such as Melon and Circle Chart, Le Seraphim achieved a 'career high'.
Le Seraphim's 3rd mini album 'EASY' will be released at 6 PM on February 19th. Expectations are high for their new album, which is solidly establishing itself in the domestic and global music markets.
Meanwhile, Le Seraphim will appear at America's largest music festival, 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' (hereinafter 'Coachella') on April 13th and 20th (local time). Le Seraphim was invited to 'Coachella' just a year and a half after his debut, becoming the artist to perform solo at this festival in the shortest period of time since his debut among Korean singers. In particular, Le Seraphim showed off their heightened global status by becoming the first 4th generation K-pop girl group to be included in the official 'Coachella' lineup.
