A new record for the shortest time for a K-pop female... New Jeans becomes a double million seller in 1 year and 5 months
According to the agency ADOR on the 12th, New Jeans' 'Get Up', released in July last year, sold a total of 2,028,991 copies as of December (based on Circle Chart statistics).
New Jeans set a new record among K-pop female artists by having a 'double million-selling' album in just 1 year and 5 months, the shortest period since debut.
'Get Up' sold more than 1.65 million copies in the first week of release, immediately ranking second among all K-pop female artist albums in the first week of release (album sales in the first week after release).
The debut album 'New Jeans' and single album 'OMG' sold over 1.52 million copies and 1.64 million copies respectively, bringing the cumulative sales of the three albums New Jeans has released to date to over 5.19 million copies.
