TWS (Tours) releases final official photo of debut album
TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) posted the 'Weverse Albums' version of the official photo for their 1st mini album 'Sparkling Blue' on their official SNS at midnight on the 11th. This official photo, designed with cartoon cuts, captures the pure and natural atmosphere of the six members. Following the official photos of the previous 'Sparkling' and 'Lucky' versions, they heightened expectations for their debut with photos with a new atmosphere that added cartoon elements.
The group photo in the 'Weverse Albums' version is reminiscent of a scene from a youth cartoon. In this photo, TWS is looking at the river at sunset together. The six members' common gaze toward one place and the elegant back view that seems to herald a brilliant youth attract attention. The casual look of wearing a natural and comfortable hoodie maximizes the members’ boyish charm.
In personal photos, each person's individuality stands out. Shin-yu, who showed off his refreshing visuals while staring straight at the camera, Do-hoon, who radiated a stylish aura with a sharp jawline, Young-jae's bright and warm side profile, Han Jin's sunny aura like a genuine cartoon character, and a faint smile as he pulled the strings of his hoodie. From Jihoon's made-up look to Kyungmin's cute yet quirky three-dimensional facial expressions, TWS is a 'bundle of sparkling charm' just like the album's name suggests.
TWS is Pledis Entertainment's first boy group in 9 years and Hive Labels' first debut in 2024. This is a team with the ambition to become a precious friend who makes the ordinary daily lives of the public and fans special with refreshing and bright energy. They plan to stimulate the pure and beautiful emotions of boyhood by promoting their own genre, 'Boyhood Pop', which is an expansion of their team identity.
TWS's debut album, the 1st mini album 'Sparkling Blue', will be released at 6 PM on the 22nd. The debut album contains a total of 5 tracks, including the title song 'First meeting doesn't go as planned', 'unplugged boy', 'first hooky', 'BFF', and the pre-released song 'Oh Mymy: 7s (Oh Mymy)'. The title song 'First meeting doesn't go as planned' is a hybrid pop genre with synth sounds, and it is a song that shows natural and honest charm by capturing the excitement of a first meeting.
Meanwhile, TWS will open a pop-up store 'TWS: THE MUSEUM VISITOR' at The Hyundai Seoul on the 18th. The pop-up store provides exhibitions and experiential opportunities to look into the face of TWS in detail. Through this event, which showcases their charms before their official debut, TWS plans to stimulate the excitement of K-pop fans with a variety of compositions.
