BTS V and UMI's collaboration song ranked first on iTunes

The collaboration song 'Wherever ur (ft. V of BTS)' between BTS's V and American singer-songwriter UMI swept iTunes charts around the world.

'Wherever u r', which was released at 2pm on the 30th (Korean time), ranked first on the iTunes 'Top Song' chart in 89 countries/regions, including the US, UK, Canada, and Germany, by 10am on the 31st. Thanks to this popularity, 'wherever u r' rose to the top of the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' chart and the 'European iTunes Song' chart on the day of its release.

The singing video of the two artists posted on Umi's official account is also a hot topic. Although it is short, this cross-edited video of V and Umi singing in different spaces clearly captures the message of 'wherever u r'. Previously, Woomi said about this song, “It is a song that a loved one delivers to everyone in different times and places. “It’s a song that reminds me that love is a frequency that can be felt regardless of distance,” he explained.

'Wherever u r' is a song about love with someone far away. The comfortable and lively accompaniment and the attractive voices of the two artists combine to create a cozy atmosphere. Woomi composed the song, and V participated as a feature. December 30th, the release date of 'wherever u r', was V's birthday, so this song had an even more special meaning to fans.
