SHINee’s brilliantly shining 2023
2023 was truly the year of SHINee. We looked back on SHINee's 15th debut anniversary this year, starting with their 8th full-length album and continuing their solo activities, in which all members performed brilliantly in all areas.

# Successful SHINee's BACK! Perfect for both group and solo!

SHINee began their group activities for the first time in about two years through a fan meeting commemorating the 15th anniversary of their debut in May, held their sixth solo concert in June, and announced their return by releasing their 8th full-length album 'HARD'. In particular, SHINee attempted a different style of music that had never been shown before with the title song 'HARD' from their 8th full-length album, presenting SHINee's signature trendy hip-hop. In addition, they conducted a Japanese arena tour from September to November, selling out all 8 concerts and attracting a total of 80,000 audiences.

The members' solo activities also filled SHINee's year. First, Onew proved his outstanding vocal skills and wide musical spectrum regardless of genre by releasing his first full-length album 'Circle' and holding his first solo concert in Korea and Japan. With his 2nd full-length album repackage 'Killer' and 2nd mini album 'Good & Great', Key presented unique music and styling, as well as conceptual and novel promotions, and was active in various fields such as entertainment and advertising.

Minho successfully completed a total of 7 Asian fan meeting tours in 4 regions and appeared in the movie 'New Normal' as the role of college student Hoon. He further expanded his acting career with his first attempt at the suspense genre and a perfect acting transformation. He also participated in various award ceremonies and broadcast programs. It was a busy year, including being selected as an MC and appointed as an 'Olympic™ Friends' by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Taemin released his fourth mini-album 'Guilty' and made a comeback as a solo artist after a long time, sparking a global challenge craze with the title song 'Guilty'. At the solo concert held in December, Taemin created a 360-degree upside-down rotating stage set, which he attempted for the first time in Korea. The performance was a combination of grand production and high-quality performance.

SHINee, celebrating its 15th anniversary since its debut, still boasts extraordinary topicality and unrivaled presence. SHINee, who appeared on the music broadcast stage holding a hand microphone in hand during the promotion of their 8th full-length album title song 'HARD', aroused admiration by providing an unwavering live performance while dancing powerful choreography. 'Sherlock·Sherlock (Clue + Note)', 'Dream Girl', 'Everybody', 'View' performed on various year-end stages such as '2023 Melon Music Awards', KBS2TV '2023 Music Bank Global Festival', and SBS '2023 Gayo Daejeon'. ', 'Don't Call Me', etc., also showed off SHINee's hot energy and solid skills, leading to favorable reviews such as "SHINee is SHINee after all."

In addition, SHINee released the movie 'MY SHINee WORLD' in November, giving fans a precious time to look back on the past 15 years with a special concert movie consisting of stages from six solo concerts, various unreleased content, and honest interviews with members. A trip was given as a gift.
