TVXQ's Max Changmin "20th Anniversary of Debut, I don't feel emotional about anniversaries, but today is special."
On the 26th, a press conference was held to commemorate the release of TVXQ's 9th full-length album '20&2' at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido-dong, Seoul.
TVXQ, who debuted on December 26, 2003, celebrated their 20th anniversary today. U-Know Yunho said, “It’s already the 20th anniversary of our debut. “I’m still excited,” he said. He continued, “It’s the day TVXQ celebrates their coming-of-age ceremony. “Looking back, I think I got to this point thanks to Changmin, who is next to me, as well as many people, staff, and fans who supported and supported me from behind,” he said.
Max Changmin said, “I’m not the type of person who feels very emotional about any kind of anniversary. I tend to just ignore things like birthdays. As a singer and TVXQ, the 20th anniversary feels special. As a singer and former idol group, there are not many groups that celebrate their 20th anniversary. “Thankfully, it is a day for which we have to be thankful to many people just for being able to celebrate this special day,” he said, expressing his meaningful feelings.
Seniors, juniors, and fellow singers expressed their congratulations through a video. The video features SM artists including Rise, Aespa, NCT DREAM, NCT 127, Red Velvet, EXO Suho, SHINee, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Super Junior's Donghae, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Shindong, Ryeowook, Yesung, Kyuhyun, Boa, and Kangta. In addition to singers, actors Lee Jang-woo, Choi Ji-woo, director Yoon Je-gyun, broadcaster Jo Se-ho, and chef Lee Yeon-bok also appeared. U-Know Yunho was happy, saying, “Since you said your sincere congratulations, I feel like both Changmin and I have lived well.” Max Changmin smiled and said, “I feel embarrassed and awkward about making congratulatory comments, but shouldn’t I be able to enjoy the congratulations of so many celebrities today? It’s a day with such great meaning.”
TVXQ's 9th full-length album '20&2' is an album that contains not only the time and experience TVXQ has accumulated so far, but also the new vision they will show in the future. It contains 10 songs, including the title song 'Rebel'. This album is a new album released by TVXQ about 5 years after the special album 'New Chapter #2: The Truth of Love' in December 2018.
