NewJeans releases remix album 'NJWMX' including new version of 'Ditto'

NewJeans celebrates their second winter with the Bunnies (fandom name) with a remix album.

NewJeans (Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Hae-rin, Hye-in) will release their first remix album since debut, 'NJWMX (NewJeans Winter Mix)', on all music sites at 6 pm on the 19th. This day marks the one-year anniversary of the release of New Jeans' representative winter song 'Ditto', and 'NJWMX' contains NewJeans' wishes that the Bernese will have a warm holiday season with NewJeans' song this winter as well. .

NewJeans shared their thoughts on the album release through their agency ADOR, saying, “I hope you will remember the special moments you had with us while listening to the remixed versions of songs that received great love last year and this year.”

'NJWMX' includes remixes of 2 songs ('Ditto', 'OMG') from the single album 'OMG' and 4 songs ('Attention', 'Hype Boy', 'Cookie', ' It contains a total of 12 songs, including a remix of 'Hurt' and 6 instrumentals.

The 'Ditto' remix was reborn as a friendly acoustic sound, as if enjoying a campfire together on a winter night, and the 'OMG' remix, which utilized the slaybell sound and Afro hiphop rhythm, created a special and warm 'NewJeans-style winter'. I can feel it.

The 'Attention' remix was arranged to have a more vibrant charm by adding percussive elements to the coolness of the original song, and the 'Hype Boy' remix is a song that has been transformed into an atmospheric 1990s R&B style. The 'Cookie' remix has a calm lo-fi sound, and the 'Hurt' remix has a bluegrass style, bringing out a winter-appropriate sensibility.

While the songs released so far by NewJeans are receiving great love and are consistently ranked high on domestic and international charts, in particular, their representative winter songs 'Ditto' and 'OMG' are 'reversing' on major music charts as the end of the year approaches.
