ATEEZ ranked first on ‘Billboard 200’
According to a chart preview article published by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 10th (local time), ATEEZ's 2nd full-length album 'THE WORLD EP FIN: WILL', released on December 1, ranked first on the US Billboard. It swept the top spot on the main chart, ‘Billboard 200’.
Previously, ATEEZ topped the 'Billboard 200' chart with their 7th mini album 'ZERO: FEVER Part.3' and their first repackage EP 'ZERO: FEVER EPILOGUE' released in 2021. They ranked 42nd and 73rd, respectively, and were listed on the chart for the first time.
In addition, ATEEZ ranked 3rd on the ‘Billboard 200’ with their 8th mini album ‘THE WORLD EP 1: MOVEMENT’ released in July of last year, and their 9th mini album ‘THE WORLD EP 1: MOVEMENT’ released in June this year. ‘THE WORLD EP. 2: OUTLAW’ rose one notch to second place. Accordingly, this new album ranked first, and all three albums of Ateez's 'The World' series ranked in the top three of the 'Billboard 200'.
ATEEZ's second full-length album, 'The World Episode Final: Will', released four years after their first full-length album in 2019, not only became a million-seller with more than 1.7 million copies sold in the first week of release, but also ranked second on the UK Official Album Chart. achieved.
Accordingly, ATEEZ became the highest-ranking K-pop group on the chart after 'BTS' and 'BLACKPINK', and was the only 4th generation idol to enter second place. In addition, it ranked 11th on the official German music charts (offizielle deutsche charts), breaking the performance of the previous work 'The World Episode 2: Outlaw' and repeatedly setting its own record.
As a result, ATEEZ was surprisingly ranked on both the US main album chart 'Billboard 200' and the UK Official Album Chart.
