ITZY, second world tour announced starting from comeback in January

ITZY will release their new album 'BORN TO BE' on January 8th next year and begin their second world tour.

JYP Entertainment released an announcement video, scheduler image, and track list announcing ITZY's first comeback in 2024 on its official SNS channel at midnight on the 4th. ITZY will release their new album 'BORN TO BE' on January 8th at 6 PM.

In addition to the title song, there was also a member solo track that ITZY released for the first time since its debut. The name of ITZY's new title song is 'UNTOUCHABLE'. Isran and Espa's 'Drama', who wrote the lyrics for 'None of My Business' from the previous work 'KILL MY DOUBT' and TWICE's Nayeon's solo debut song 'POP!' Bang Hye-hyun, who wrote the lyrics for (drama) and 'Spicy', wrote the lyrics, and leading writers including Maria Marcus, who has worked with Jungkook, Red Velvet, and Tomorrow by Together, embroidered the credits.

Here, 'BORN TO BE', 'Mr. Vampire', 'Dynamite', 'Crown On My Head (Yeji)', 'Blossom (Ria)', 'Run Away (Ryujin)' (Run Away (Ryujin)), 'Mine (Chaeryeong)', 'Yet, but (Yuna)' (Yuna), 'Escalator' (Escalator), a total of 10 songs. It was included, and the members directly participated in writing and composing their first solo song.

Additionally, news of a second world tour was announced. ITZY will hold a solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul on February 24th and 25th and announce the start of their new world tour. The first world tour <CHECKMATE>, which departed from Seoul in August 2022, is an American tour that tours 8 cities in the United States and 7 regions in Asia, including Manila in the Philippines, Singapore, Jakarta in Indonesia, Chiba and Taipei in Japan, Hong Kong, and Bangkok in Thailand. All performances were sold out.

Recently, ITZY topped the 'Top Current Album Sales' chart with 'CHESHIRE' and 'KILL MY DOUBT' in the 2023 YEAR-END CHARTS released by Billboard, followed by the group's mega hit song 'WANNABE'. (Wannabe) received gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Meanwhile, ITZY's 'BORN TO BE' and title song 'UNTOUCHABLE' will be released at 6 PM on January 8th.
