Yena Choi "There are many dark scenes in the 'Love War' MV"
Yena Choi held a showcase commemorating the release of her first single album 'Love War' at 4 PM on the 16th.
The new album 'Love War' contains the narrative of love seen from Choi Yena's perspective. Inner emotions and stories were expressed directly, yet gently, in Choi Yena's unique colors.
Choi Yena participated in writing and composing the songs ‘Love War’ and ‘Wash Away’ in this album, announcing her musical growth and her start as a singer-songwriter. In addition, musician Colde's production was added to enhance the album's completeness.
The title song of the same name as the album is a song that expresses the most precarious and boring period in the process of love. It features straightforward lyrics and a groovy melody line. In particular, Choi Yena and Bio sing about each other's perspectives as lovers on the verge of separation.
In addition to the title song 'Love War', the intro song 'Love Is Over' and 'Wash Away', which contains the moment of farewell when leaving someone you loved without regret, are also included.
On this day, Choi Yena said, "For this album, I had to talk a lot about my inner self. I thought I had to be gloomy when filming emotional scenes. Since I live with my brother, I deliberately picked fights with him or something like that."
He also said, "I tried to focus on the musical aspect. The previous album was lively. I want to show a different side of me."
