BTS Jungkook wins 2 awards in Japan's Oricon 'Weekly Ranking'

In the 'Weekly Album Ranking' (accounting period October 30 - November 2) announced by Japan's Oricon Chart on the 8th, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' took first place with sales of 207,000 copies. Jungkook is the second male solo artist to reach first place on this chart this year, following Jimin's first solo album 'FACE' in April.
Upon its release on the 3rd, 'GOLDEN' went straight to the top of the 'Daily Album Ranking' with sales of 205,961 copies, and Jungkook once again proved his hot popularity in Japan by dominating the Oricon Daily and Weekly Album Rankings. In addition, Jungkook ranked first in the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking' with 10,557 weekly downloads.
According to the performance of 'GOLDEN', BTS members swept the Oricon chart's 'Weekly Album Rankings' with the highest first week sales of all solo artist albums. While Jimin's 'FACE' is in first place, V's solo album 'Layover', released last September, is in second place, and Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' rises straight to third place.
Meanwhile, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN', which was released around the world on the 3rd, became a 'double million seller' in 5 hours and set a new record for first place among Korean solo artists (album sales in the first week after release) with sales on the day of release alone. .
