BTS Jungkook, unstoppable ‘golden’ run

Jungkook added another record with ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on the 6th (local time), BTS Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' earned platinum certification by selling more than 1 million units.

Jung Kook received his first gold certification from RIAA last year with his collaboration song 'Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS)' with Charlie Puth, and also obtained platinum certification with 'Seven'.

RIAA awards certifications based on digital single and album sales by dividing them into Gold (500,000 units or more), Platinum (1 million units or more), Multi-Platinum (2 million units or more), and Diamond (10 million units or more). The tally is made by weighting album (physical/digital) sales, digital downloads, audio and video streaming, etc.

Meanwhile, Jungkook simultaneously released his solo album 'GOLDEN' worldwide on the 3rd.
