TWICE Jeongyeon became the first K-pop artist to participate in an Apple Music carol cover
TWICE Jeongyeon released a project song in collaboration with Apple Music ahead of the Christmas season.

Jeongyeon released the project song 'O Christmas Tree' exclusively on Apple Music at 1pm on November 1st, Korean time.

Apple Music has been collaborating with famous artists every year since 2020, and is introducing 'Carols Covered', a playlist that brings together carols reinterpreted by these artists. Last year, British pop star Ellie Goulding and American Grammy Award winner Muni Long participated and garnered attention, while Jeongyeon was the first Korean singer to be included in this year's playlist.

The song Jeongyeon chose for 'Carols Covered 2023' is the widely loved carol 'O Christmas Tree'. Before releasing the project song she sang, Jeongyeon said through Apple Music, "When I listen to 'O Christmas Tree', warm and cozy memories of being with family and friends come to mind. It is also a song that is a must on my holiday playlist, and this song “I hope it will be a good gift for those who have good memories about , allowing them to relive their memories with their loved ones.”

Jeongyeon's first solo season song 'O Christmas Tree' can be heard on Apple Music, and the entire 'Carols Covered 2023' playlist including 'O Christmas Tree' was released at midnight on the 2nd.

Twice, to which Jeongyeon belongs, is currently conducting its fifth world tour, 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'', which will consist of 44 concerts in 25 regions around the world. Starting from KSPO DOME in Seoul in April of this year, they became the first female group to enter and sell out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York. The North American tour was successfully completed with a total of 250,000 audiences in the United States alone. On the 4th, they will hold a concert at MARVEL STADIUM in Melbourne, Australia, for the first time in K-pop group history.
