SEVENTEEN, No. 1 on Japanese Oricon Weekly Album Ranking for the 11th time in total

Group Seventeen (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) is sweeping the Japanese Oricon charts with their 11th mini album.

SEVENTEEN's 11th mini album 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' entered first place in the latest Oricon Weekly Album Ranking (as of November 6/counting period October 23-29, 2023) released on the 31st.

As a result, Seventeen took first place on this chart with seven consecutive works and 11th place overall, making them the artist with the most number one works as an overseas artist.

SEVENTEEN is rewriting the history of K-pop with ‘SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN’. 'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' sold 5,091,887 copies in the first week, becoming the No. 1 album in K-pop history (album sales in the first week after release). ‘SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN’ is the first album in K-pop history to sell over 5 million copies in the first week.

The title song 'God of Music' went straight to No. 1 on major domestic music charts such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs immediately after its release and has maintained the top spot. In particular, 'God of Music' became the first K-pop male group work to take first place in Melon's TOP 100 this year.

'SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN' includes the title song 'God of Music', group songs 'SOS (Prod. Marshmello)', 'Diamond Days', 'Headliner', 'God of Music (Inst.)', and unit song 'Back 2 Back'. A total of 8 songs are included, including (performance team), 'Monster' (hip-hop team), and 'Yawn' (vocal team).

Meanwhile, Seventeen will be performing at Veruna Dome (Saitama) on November 23-24, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on November 30 and December 2-3, Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 7 and 9-10, and December 16-17. 'SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' TO JAPAN' is scheduled to be held at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on Sunday.
