Woods releases first concept teaser for 'Abyss', pre-released song from 5th mini album

Singer WOODZ (Cho Seung-yeon) will make a comeback with the pre-released song 'Abyss' on February 22nd.

Woods' agency EDAM Entertainment raised expectations for the upcoming comeback by releasing the teaser image and new song name 'ABYSS' for the first time through its official SNS channel at midnight on the 13th.

The released teaser shows Woods standing alone with a huge castle with no one in it behind him. In particular, the dreamy colors reminiscent of a movie poster and the text at the top of the image immediately caught the attention of viewers.

In addition, the teaser with the copy ‘A VERY PERSONAL STORY BY WOODZ’ added, “It’s alright if you want a lot.” I'll let you have it all. (It’s okay if you want a lot. I’ll give you everything.)” It contained a meaningful message, raising curiosity about the new song.

Woods' new song 'Abyss' is the first new song he prepared after transferring to his agency, and is a song released about 9 months after his 4th mini album 'COLORFUL TRAUMA' in May of last year. Attention is already being paid to what genre of music Woods will present this time, having established himself as an 'all-round singer-songwriter' through his solid skills and active music activities.

Singer Woods debuted with the group UNIQ in 2014 and worked as a member of X1, which was created through the Mnet audition program. Woods, who later began his solo career, participated in writing and composing songs such as 'I Am Without You', 'Blue', and 'WAITING' and was recognized for his outstanding musicality. In addition, he surprised music fans by announcing the news of an exclusive contract with EDAM Entertainment in October last year.
