Blackpink Jennie's 'You & Me' swept first place on iTunes in 53 countries
Blackpink Jennie is showing signs of unusual popularity by hitting the global charts with the special single 'You & Me', which was surprisingly released for fans.

According to YG Entertainment on the 7th, Jennie's 'You & Me', which was released at 1 PM (Korean time) the previous day, ranked first on the iTunes Song Chart in a total of 53 countries. Showing an even distribution of popularity around the world, it topped the Worldwide Song Chart, showing strong performance in the English and American markets, including 5th in the UK and 4th in the US.

It also swept domestic music charts. Immediately after its release, 'You & Me' went straight to first place on Naver Vibe and Bugs, and topped Melon and Genie's real-time charts. On Melon, it charted a steep upward curve and settled in the top ranks, and is steadily improving its ranking to this day.

This song, which graced Jennie's solo stage during Blackpink's world tour, received a lot of love from fans around the world for its silhouette performance with the full moon in the background. The performance video, which was released along with the official sound source on this day, also ranked first among the 'most viewed videos in 24 hours' on YouTube, amidst favorable reviews that Jenny's fascinating and intense aura and well-placed lighting provided the ultimate sense of immersion.

Blackpink, of which Jennie is a member, recently completed the largest world tour by a K-pop girl group, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]', which mobilized over 1.8 million people.
