Yuju, “Music is now ‘Jukmaggo’”
On the 7th, Yuju held a press conference commemorating the release of her new mini album 'O' at Spigen Hall located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu.
The new album '0' is an album that unravels the situations and emotions Yuju has experienced so far under the theme of 'travel'. It started from the idea that the numerous flows, such as excitement, hate and love, confusion and stability, that arose within it eventually turned around, like a large circle. For the first time, the album name contains the ‘meaning of shapes’ rather than the ‘meaning of words’.
In addition, from the 1st track '9 Years', which contains Yuju's past time, to the 3rd track 'Dreaming', the 4th track 'Peach Blossom' featuring Sokodomo, and the 5th track 'Full Circle', which is similar to the album name, etc. It is contained in this album.
In particular, Yuju wrote lyrics for '9 Years', the title song 'Without U', 'Dreaming', 'Peach Blossom', and 'Full Circle' in this album.
On this day, Yuju said about music, "When I first started doing music, I had a sparkling curiosity."
He continued, "I gained a sense of responsibility while making music as my main job. There were moments when I hated and feared him. Now, I feel like we are friends with whom I share a deep friendship that cannot be expressed in words." He continued, "Music is like a close friend to me."
Meanwhile, Yuju's new album 'O', which will prove Yuju's serious musicality, will be released through various music sites at 6 PM on this day.
