'YG's new girl group' Baby Monster begins its first group dance mission
YG's new girl group BABYMONSTER showed off its high-level vocal capabilities and began the process of verifying its dance skills, drawing the attention of global fans.

YG Entertainment posted BABYMONSTER - 'Last Evaluation' EP.3 on its official blog on the 24th. The video depicts Baby Monster practicing hard before the first group dance mission, starting with Team B's cover of Blackpink's 'STAY', which consists of Asa, Haram, Laura, and Chiquita.

Team B's 'STAY', which was finally unveiled, stood out with perfect harmony. Even though all four members are young, in their teens, they expressed the pain of separation in the lyrics moistly and deeply, leaving a deep lingering feeling that makes you think about the performance over and over again.

However, YG seniors did not spare any affectionate and bitter words for Baby Monster's growth. I wanted them to have not only vocals but also the energy to freely enjoy the stage. Nevertheless, he praised the efforts of those who did their best, saying, "It was nice to see that they did it well and I want to express my respect," and "Chiquita's star quality was especially evident. Her appearance on stage was truly attractive."

Baby Monster, who once again reflected on his efforts and commitments under strong advice, finally began preparing for the group dance mission. The mission song was Blackpink's 'Don't Know What To Do', which has a smooth dance line and delicate control of dynamics. In order to deliver a high-quality performance, they also recorded music for the first time, raising expectations to the highest level.

The interim inspection was led directly by general producer Yang Hyun-seok. He visited the practice room every day and carefully directed not only the movements but also detailed movements, and expressed his special affection, saying, "Because Blackpink has grown so much into a global group, I pay attention every day to the thought of making the junior group do well as well."

With only 10 days left until the contest, another artist appeared as a special mentor. Blackpink Lisa is the main character. As Lisa stood tall as a world-class main dancer, she carefully cared for the trainees with generous encouragement, providing sharp feedback on everything from the overall formation to choreography composition, and even personally demonstrating.

At the end of the video, the performance of 'Don't Know What To Do', which ended with rave reviews and rave reviews, was announced. However, along with the announcement of the first individual rankings, executive producer Yang Hyun-seok was seen saying, "There are dropouts. I want to tell you that they had a really hard time," hinting at the possibility of dropouts, causing tension.

Meanwhile, Baby Monster is a new girl group released by YG about 7 years after Blackpink. The prospective members are mostly teenagers: 3 from Korea (Ahyeon, Haram, and Laura), 2 from Thailand (Parita and Chiquita), and 2 from Japan (Luca and Asa). While it is expected to change the landscape of the global music market beyond the domestic music industry in 2023, the debut reality show 'Last Evaluation' for final member selection is released every Friday at midnight.
