BTS Jimin, 'Face' initial sales of 1 million copies, 'career high'

Hanteo Chart, the world's only real-time music chart, announced the weekly chart for the 4th week of March 2023 at 10 am on the 27th. According to this, BTS Jimin took first place on the Hanteo World Chart and Album Chart. The World Chart is announced based on global data of K-Pop artists, including albums, music sources, certifications, SNS, and media, and has the meaning of a comprehensive chart.
Jimin's first solo album 'FACE', which many global fandoms have been waiting for, achieved a record 'career high' by becoming the first solo artist to sell more than 1 million copies in the first week of release.
The music video for the title song 'Like Crazy', released on the 24th, ranked high on the trending video charts in several countries and surpassed 18.71 million views as of 11 o'clock on the 27th. It also took first place on the world chart, demonstrating the global influence of the fandom 'ARMY'. Following Jimin, Blackpink ranked second and BTS ranked third on the weekly world chart.
Jimin's 'FACE', which also took first place on the weekly album chart, recorded 1,183,668.60 points on the Hanteo Album Index. Weekly album sales amounted to 1,036,294 copies, and Jimin attracted attention by achieving a million-seller from the first day of release and even setting a new record for a solo artist.
Following this, Nmix's 'expérgo' album ranked second with an album index of 629,218.75 points (sales of 630,811 copies), followed by Kingdom's 'History Of Kingdom: Part Ⅵ. The 'Mujin' album ranked 3rd with an album index of 59,449.50 points (54,045 copies sold).
On the weekly certification chart, CRAVITY's 'MASTER: PIECE' album ranked first. This album had the highest certification rate in Japan over the past week.
Then, Twice's 'READY TO BE' album ranked second, and Eightton's '8TURNRISE' album ranked third.
Hanteo Chart's weekly chart counting period for the 4th week of March is from the 20th to the 26th. The World Chart is announced based on global data of K-pop artists, and the Album Chart is ranked based on the Album Index based on worldwide album sales. The certification chart is based on the amount of genuine album certifications from overseas fans.
